Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: Nights – 12 Hour Shifts
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Job Summary:

• Delivers coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilizes critical thinking, professional judgment, supervisory discretion, and independent decision-making to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Ability to supervise and coordinate nursing staff
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing support staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and standards of care.

Additional Information:

• Night shift position.
• 12-hour shifts.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• 13-week contract.
