Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in West Virginia. Join a collaborative cardiovascular team performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Position Highlights
- 4x10-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday)
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 1–2 weekday call shifts
- 1–2 weekends of call per month
- Cath Lab provides scrubs and lead aprons
- Float within scope of practice as needed
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- IR (Interventional Radiology) experience is a plus
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Active West Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Must have housing within 30 minutes of the facility to meet STEMI call response requirements
- Must live 75+ miles from the facility (local candidates are not eligible)
Important Information
- Up to 7 days of requested time off may be considered if submitted before the offer.
- Travelers must be available to work either a major or minor holiday if scheduled.
- Two professional references are required (one Charge RN or higher and one Supervisor, both completed within the last year).
- Valid driver's license, active RN license, and all required certifications must be included with the submission.
- Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of receiving an offer.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
