Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
| Level II Trauma Center | 407 Staffed Beds
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Shift: Days – 3×12 Hours (6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM)
Job Summary
Join a nationally recognized 407-bed acute care hospital in Anchorage, AK. We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of OR experience to provide exceptional perioperative care across a wide variety of surgical specialties in an 18-room operating suite performing approximately 40 cases per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
- Circulate and assist with complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
- Ensure accurate specimen handling, infection prevention, patient safety, and documentation.
- Operate within a multidisciplinary team while utilizing Epic EMR.
- Participate in limited on-call coverage for staff call-offs and float to like units if needed.
Requirements
- Active Alaska RN License (required for Auto Offer)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- BLS required
- ACLS & CNOR preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with Level I or Level II Trauma is a plus
