Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU (RRT)

Location: Richland, Washington
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital | 337 Beds | Level II Trauma Center
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Shift: Nights – 3×12 Hours (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)

Job Summary

Join a leading 337-bed acute care hospital as a NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). We are seeking an experienced therapist with Level III or IV NICU experience to provide advanced respiratory care for critically ill neonates. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment utilizing Epic EMR with exposure to advanced neonatal ventilation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced respiratory care for Level III/IV NICU patients.
  • Manage neonatal respiratory support, including CPAP, Bubble CPAP, HFNC, Nitric Oxide, Jet Ventilation, and High-Frequency Oscillator.
  • Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal airway management.
  • Perform ABG interpretation, ventilator management, and respiratory assessments.
  • Assist with neonatal intubation and tracheostomy care.
  • Float internally between departments as needed.
  • Document all patient care using Epic EMR.

Requirements

  • Active Washington RRT License (required at submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
  • Level III or IV NICU experience required (Hard Stop)
  • Neuro Trauma ICU experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, CRT/RRT, NRP, and PALS required
  • Experience with Nitric Oxide, Jet Ventilation, and Oscillator Ventilation
  • First-time travelers accepted
