Description

  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts
  • Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
  • On-call: Yes, 1 night per week
  • Response Time: Must live within 30 minutes of the facility for call.

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy RN experience
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license
  • BLS and ACLS required

Required Skills

  • Administering conscious sedation
  • Monitoring conscious sedation
  • Recovery from conscious sedation
  • Circulating in Endoscopy procedures
  • Inpatient Endoscopy experience

Patient Ratios

  • Procedure Room: 1:1
  • Pre-op/Discharge: 4:1

Floating

  • May float within scope if needed, but highly unlikely

Charting

  • Epic / GMED

Block Scheduling

  • Approval can be requested before the assignment, but it is not guaranteed.

Time Off (RTO)

  • Must be submitted at the time of submission
  • 7 days or fewer (non-holiday) may qualify for an auto-offer
  • More than 7 days or holiday RTO requires facility approval

Local Rules

  • Local radius: 60 miles
  • Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis at a lower bill rate
  • Non-local candidates are prioritized

Guaranteed Hours

  • Facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks

Other Notes

  • Hospital-issued scrubs
  • Free parking (parking pass provided)
  • Hurricane season (June–November): Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams
