Position Details

Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
Facility: Flowers Hospital, Dothan, Alabama
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift: Days, 5x8s (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), Monday–Friday

Schedule and Requirements

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of Cardiac and Peripheral Cath Lab experience
Experience scrubbing, monitoring, and operating X-ray equipment during procedures
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent certification

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
ARRT or RCIS
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent certification

Key Responsibilities

Assist cardiologists during cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures
Perform scrubbing, X-ray imaging, and patient monitoring during procedures
Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and sterile field
Ensure timely completion of imaging studies
Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment during interventional procedures
Maintain patient safety and accurate procedural documentation
