Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – Blood Bank for a 13-week travel assignment at a 426-bed Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center in California. This is a high-volume Blood Bank position requiring an experienced traveler who can work independently on night shift.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience
  • Recent Blood Bank experience (within the last 2 years) – Required
  • Blood Bank travel experience (multiple travel assignments preferred)
  • Experience in a 300+ bed acute care hospital
  • Level I Trauma Center experience required
  • Epic experience required
  • Blood Bank software experience required
  • Ability to work independently on night shift
  • California CLS License (if applicable)
  • ASCP-BB certification required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teaching hospital experience
  • WellSky experience
  • Immucor instrumentation experience
  • Clinical Immunohematology Science certification

Schedule

  • 4x10 Night Shifts
  • 9:30 PM – 7:30 AM (may flex to 8:00 PM start)
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
