Job Title: Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist - Days (Intermountain Health - Grand Junction, CO)
Job Description: Take on an exciting travel assignment at Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO! We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for day shifts to join our cardiovascular surgery team. In this specialized role, you will manage case carts, assemble sterile instrumentation, scrub in for complex open-heart and vascular cases, and assist with rapid room turnovers. Contract Details:
- Start Date: August 17, 2026 (13-week assignment).
- Schedule: Day shift (with potential for rotating call/weekend coverage per facility needs).
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of overall surgical tech experience, with at least 1–2 years of dedicated CVOR scrubbing experience (cardiovascular case history must be clearly outlined on the resume).
- Education: Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program (or military equivalent) with a high school diploma/GED.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS certification required at submittal.

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
