Assignment Details:
- Position: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
- Location: Bozeman, MT
- Shift: Days – 4×10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
- Experience Required: Minimum 2.5 years of recent Sterile Processing experience in an acute care hospital.
Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CBSPD or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) Certification
Required Experience & Skills:
- Acute Care Hospital Operating Room (OR)
- Decontamination and disinfection of surgical instruments
- Flexible endoscope reprocessing
- Bronchoscopes, Colonoscopes, and EGD scopes
- Use of chemical agents for decontamination
- Cleaning and processing medical equipment, including crash carts, IV pumps, and PCA pumps
- Proper instrument labeling and documentation
- Equipment preparation, handling, and organization of surgical trays
- Scope and probe reprocessing
- Specialty equipment processing
- Endoscopy
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
