Description

Med Tele / Orthopedic RN – 4th Floor (55 Beds)
12-hour Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM). Provide care for adult Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Orthopedic patients including joint replacements, fractures, COPD, sepsis, GI bleeds, pneumonia, cellulitis, and post-surgical cases. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5–6. Experience with heparin, lidocaine, ketamine drips, PCA pumps, and Epic EMR preferred. Floating to other Med-Surg units as needed.

Must Requirements

  • Active RN License
  • AHA BLS Certification (Required)
  • ACLS (Preferred, not required)
  • Minimum 50-mile radius from facility (must not be employed Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility)
  • Driver's License required at submission
  • Epic EMR experience
  • Must pass 90% open-book RN competency exam during orientation
  • Must remove artificial nails before patient care
  • Willing to float to other Medical-Surgical units
  • Must work every other weekend and 2–3 holidays (Thanksgiving–New Year)
  • Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract (submitted upfront)
  • Trauma Level I Acute Care experience preferred
  • Guaranteed Hours available
