Description
Job Summary
Concord Hospital is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join its dynamic cardiac care team. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac telemetry experience and be comfortable caring for post-cardiac procedure patients while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Telemetry patients.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes.
- Care for post-cardiac catheterization patients, including TR Band management and hemostasis.
- Perform accurate stroke assessments and neurological monitoring.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately using the EMR.
- Float as needed based on patient care requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (required at submission)
- BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Experience with:
- Telemetry monitoring
- TR Band management
- Post-cardiac catheterization care
- Hemostasis management
- Stroke assessments
- Ability to float to:
- ED Hold
- ICU
- PCU
Preferred Qualifications
- Cerner EMR experience (preferred but not required)
- Previous travel nursing experience
