Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• First-time travelers are accepted with strong acute care experience.
• Required Work Setting Experience:
  • Adult Critical Care
  • Emergency Department

Required License & Certifications

• Active Tennessee Respiratory Care License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• BLS
• ACLS
• Preferred: NRP and PALS

Schedule & Facility Requirements

• Night shift (3×12)
• No block scheduling
• Local candidates are accepted less than the traveler bill rate

• Drawing & Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Ventilator Management
• BiPAP

• Bronchoscopy
• High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Nebulizer Therapy
• Oxygen Therapy
• In-Hospital Patient Transport

• Chest Percussion Therapy
• Bedside Parameters (FVC/NIF) for Neurology Patients
• V60 BiPAP
• Comfort Flow Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannula
• Transport Ventilators
• GlideScope Intubation System
• Bronchoscopy System
• Puritan Bennett 980 Ventilators
• Bedside Bronchoscopies
• Percutaneous Tracheostomy
• Radiometer ABL90 Flex Blood Gas Analyzer
• Nebulized Epoprostenol Therapy
• HeliOx Therapy

Time-Off (RTO) Policy

Holiday or holiday-week RTO requests will not be approved prior to the assignment. After arriving onsite, travelers may discuss holiday scheduling directly with the manager using the facility's RTO request process.
