Travel First Assist CVOR CST
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift:Days, 6:30a-5p, 4x10hr, holidays and call required, option for block scheduling
EMR: Cerner
Required certifications: BLS, First Assist certification along with one of the following CST certifications or RN license, if they do not have CST cert then the candidate must provide evidence that they were employed to practice surgical technology in a healthcare facility before July 1, 2009 or must have the Certified Surgical Assistant cert
Ratio: average of 85 surgeries a month
Floating: could float to Main OR
Required skills: must be able to suture as directed by the surgeons, strong cardiac skills. will not accept candidates who were surgeons/physicians in another country.
