Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Sunday–Saturday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Flexible Schedule Required)
Location: Dorchester, Massachusetts (Onsite)
 

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a community-based vaccination initiative. This is a patient-facing role responsible for administering a variety of immunizations while delivering exceptional clinical care in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer a wide range of vaccines including:
  • Influenza (Flu)
  • COVID-19
  • MMR
  • Hepatitis A & B
  • Tdap
  • Shingles (Zoster)
  • Pneumococcal
  • HPV
  • RSV
  • Other CDC-recommended immunizations
• Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide patient education regarding vaccines, side effects, and post-vaccination care.
• Accurately document immunizations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism.
• Adapt to changing workflows and support operational needs as required.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
• Must not appear on any federal exclusion list.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in community health, retail clinics, public health, or vaccination programs.
• Experience administering multiple vaccine types.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
