Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) / Medical Assistant to support a busy Orthopedic clinic in Redwood City, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong clinical and administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating patient care, assisting with orthopedic procedures, managing clinic workflows, and working within the Epic electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care and clinic operations
- Support physicians and clinical staff in an orthopedic setting
- Assist with procedures and patient preparation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient communications
- Document patient information accurately in Epic
- Maintain excellent patient service and care coordination
- Support daily clinic workflow and administrative functions
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant and/or Patient Care Coordinator experience
- Current BLS certification
- Epic EMR experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Orthopedic clinic experience
- Procedure support experience
Schedule
- Day Shift
- 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
- 40 hours per week
Compensation
Based on experience!
- 3+ Years of Experience: $25.00/hour
- 4+ Years of Experience: $26.50/hour
- 5+ Years of Experience: $32.00/hour
