Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) / Medical Assistant to support a busy Orthopedic clinic in Redwood City, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong clinical and administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating patient care, assisting with orthopedic procedures, managing clinic workflows, and working within the Epic electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and clinic operations
• Support physicians and clinical staff in an orthopedic setting
• Assist with procedures and patient preparation
• Schedule appointments and manage patient communications
• Document patient information accurately in Epic
• Maintain excellent patient service and care coordination
• Support daily clinic workflow and administrative functions
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant and/or Patient Care Coordinator experience
• Current BLS certification
• Epic EMR experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Orthopedic clinic experience
• Procedure support experience

Schedule

• Day Shift
• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
• 40 hours per week

Compensation

Based on experience!

• 3+ Years of Experience: $25.00/hour
• 4+ Years of Experience: $26.50/hour
• 5+ Years of Experience: $32.00/hour
