Description

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. The SLP will collaborate with families, physicians, therapists, and educators to develop individualized treatment plans that promote communication, developmental progress, and quality of life.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy for speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
  • Educate and train patients, families, and caregivers on home therapy strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in discharge planning and progress evaluations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist License (state-specific)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred or required by many facilities)
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA) (if hospital-based)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent Pediatric SLP experience
  • Experience treating pediatric speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital, outpatient pediatric, school-based, or early intervention experience
  • Experience with feeding and dysphagia evaluations
  • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
  • Familiarity with Epic or other EMR systems
  • Strong communication and family education skills
A dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with excellent clinical and communication skills who is passionate about helping children achieve their communication and developmental goals while working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
