Position Details

• Position: Registered Nurse – Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Neuro PCU/Telemetry experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to Medical, Telemetry, and Neonatal units as needed

• Post-stroke care
• Post-neurosurgery care

Required Certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Neuro Progressive Care patients.
• Monitor telemetry and neurological status.
• Care for stable post-stroke and post-neurosurgical patients.
• Provide care for medical overflow patients.
• Document patient care in Cerner.
• Float to Medical, Telemetry, and Neonatal units as required.

• Facility: Frye Regional Medical Center (Duke LifePoint Hospital)
• Local Radius Rule: Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate.
• Local Rate: $48/hour
