Job Overview
We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Acute Care Registered Nurse to join a patient-focused healthcare team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help deliver exceptional outcomes for patients and their families.
Requirements
- ✅ Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- ✅ Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
- ✅ BLS Certification
- ✅ NIHSS Certification
- ✅ Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Delegate and supervise patient care activities appropriately
- Maintain accurate documentation and promote evidence-based practice
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
