Description
Geographic Restrictions: Candidates whose permanent address or Driver's License is within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, or Monroe counties (or within 50 miles of the site) are not eligible for this contract.
Work schedule: 40hrs/wk. 5 days per week for 8hrs OR 4 days per week for 10hrs (as per RD preference)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) for a 13-week travel contract with West Kendall Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical nutrition care, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and dietary counseling within the Clinical Nutrition Services department. You will work within a modern, state-of-the-art facility featuring all-private patient rooms, providing general medical, surgical, and intensive care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nutritional assessments, evaluate medical nutrition needs, and formulate tailored nutrition care plans for acute care patients.
- Monitor and manage enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy in collaboration with attending physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide clinical nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Accurately document clinical evaluations, progress notes, and nutrition recommendations in Cerner.
- Participate in weekend coverage rotations to ensure continuous patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree (Academic Diploma/Transcript required at submission).
- Licensure: Active Florida State Licensure – Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN).
- Certifications: Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Registered Dietitian credential.
- Geographic Restrictions: Candidates whose permanent address or Driver's License is within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, or Monroe counties (or within 50 miles of the site) are not eligible for this contract.
- Health Clearances: Mandatory Flu Vaccine required prior to start. Candidates must be willing to undergo on-site PPE fit testing (requires a clean-shaven face).
