Description

Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) – 12-Hour Nights [26-Week Contract]

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 18:00 – 06:30 (36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week) | Self-Scheduling Available
  • Assignment Length: 26 Weeks (Extended 6-Month Commitment) | ASAP Start Date
  • Floating Protocol: Travelers float first within their clinical scope to meet facility needs (e.g., Postpartum / Mother-Baby / Antepartum).
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
  • Licensure Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Active California RN License in hand at submission. Pending licenses will NOT be accepted.
  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1 year of active L&D nursing experience in an acute care hospital. Postpartum / Mother-Baby experience is strongly preferred.
  • Core Surgical Competency [HARDSTOP]: RNs MUST be competent to circulate on Cesarean sections. Do not submit candidates missing core L&D skills unless explicitly pre-screened as an exceptionally strong applicant.
  • EMR Technical Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Active clinical proficiency with Epic EMR.
  • Required Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • Active AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
