Referral Bonus

• Day Shift – 3×12 hours
• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Some shifts may be 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• On-call rotation required
• Every other weekend

Contract Length:

• 91 Weeks

Experience Required

• Minimum 18 months of recent Dialysis RN experience (non-negotiable)
• Must have 18 months of permanent Dialysis experience
• Travel experience not required

License Required

• Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact License required at submission

Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Certifications must be active (nothing pending)

Dialysis Services Provided

• Inpatient Hemodialysis (IHD)
• Dialysis unit and bedside ICU hemodialysis
• Connect/disconnect Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) patients
• No CRRT
• No PIRRT/Tablo machines
• Uses Fresenius dialysis machines (orientation provided)

Weekend & Call Requirements

• Every other weekend
• On-call rotation required

References Required

• Two recent manager/supervisor/ANM/director references
• References must:
  • Be from the Dialysis specialty
  • Be from the past 12 months
  • Coworker references are not accepted

Facility Requirements

• Travelers may only be submitted to one Cleveland Clinic position at a time
• All RTO must be discussed during the interview and submitted with the profile.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• PBDS assessment is waived.
• ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate tests completed during orientation (maximum two attempts).

Compliance Requirements

• Background check must have no open cases
• No license disciplinary actions accepted.
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
• Required certifications must be active before submission.

Vaccination Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)
• Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)

Return Traveler Policy

• Former Cleveland Clinic permanent or per diem staff must wait 1 year before returning as travelers.

Modules

• Average 6–15 hours of pre-start modules.
• 4 hours are billable; additional module time is non-billable.
• Modules are completed through SilkRoad.

Extension Policy

• Travelers may extend up to 18 months.
• After 18 months, a 6-month break is generally required unless the facility grants an exception.
