Contract: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry RN experience
- ACLS required
- Strong Cardiac Telemetry and Medical-Surgical experience
- Experience with cardiac drips and post-cardiac procedures
Unit Highlights:
- 23-bed Cardiac Medical Unit
- 1:4 patient ratio (days), 1:5 (nights)
- Care for MI, CHF, A-fib, CVA, post-cardiac caths, pacemakers, cardioversions, ablations, and cardiac medication drips
- Every other weekend
- Floating only to similar acuity units

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst Iāve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is okš„“ but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Donāt do it!
