🚨 Travel ICU RN | Nights/Days | West Virginia
Take your critical care skills to a high-acuity ICU with strong interdisciplinary support and self-scheduling options!
📍 Location: West Virginia
🩺 Specialty: ICU RN
🕒 Shift: 12-Hour Days or Nights (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
✅ Minimum 1 year of ICU/Critical Care experience
✅ Prior travel experience preferred
✅ Active BLS, ACLS & NIHSS
✅ Experience with CRRT, IABP, ventilators, vasoactive drips, sedation, paralytics, and post-code care
Unit Highlights:
- 18-bed private ICU
- Typical 1:2 patient ratio (1:1 for CRRT/Organ Donation)
- EPIC charting
- Self-scheduling available (unit needs apply)
- Block scheduling considered
- Dedicated ICU pharmacist and respiratory therapy support
- Float to Stepdown/Med-Surg only when needed

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
