Position: RN – Med Surg / Telemetry

Location: Greensburg, PA

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Shift: Nights or Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Schedule: 3 days/week

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Local candidates accepted as well, pay for locals: $50 - $53/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, working with adult and geriatric patient populations while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Perform IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care.
• Manage cardiac monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies.
   

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania or compact state RN license.
• 2+ years of experience as a Med surg/Tele RN.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
