Job Summary

Join SEARHC as a Travel RN providing high-quality patient care across Med Surg, Emergency Department, and ICU. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to float between departments based on patient care needs.

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN License required at the time of submission
• BLS, ACLS & PALS required on hire
• Flu Vaccine required
• Prior specialty experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning.
• Float between Med Surg, ED, and ICU as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and changing patient conditions.
• Mentor new staff and maintain accurate documentation.

Important Information

• Must be willing to work both Day and Night shifts.
• Must be able to float between Med Surg, ED, and ICU as needed.
• No RTO during the first 13-week contract.
• Start date will be no less than 6 weeks after SEARHC receives fingerprint cards in Juneau. Travelers should complete fingerprinting and mail cards within 2–3 days of acceptance to avoid delays.
• Housing and transportation are the traveler's/agency's responsibility.
