Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Utilization Review Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. The UR RN will be responsible for reviewing medical necessity, managing utilization review processes, coordinating discharge planning, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting quality patient care while optimizing healthcare resources.

Requirements

Active RN License (Any U.S. State License Accepted)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience
At least 2 years of inpatient experience (Med-Surg, ICU, Step-Down, PACU, Telemetry, or similar acute care setting)
Current AHA BLS Certification
Experience with Utilization Review, Case Management, and Electronic Health Records (Allscripts preferred)

Benefits: Arizona RN license not required Shared contractor housing available (limited availability) Monday–Friday schedule with weekend/holiday call rotation
