Sleep Technologist – Travel Assignment
Location: Burlington, MA- Local candidates accepted
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3rd Shift – Approximately 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Shifts: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (30 hours/week)
Submission Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Sleep Lab experience required.
- Epic experience required.
- Must have been separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be eligible.
- RPSGT registration or registry-eligible preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform overnight polysomnography (PSG) and Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT).
- Monitor and record EEG, EOG, EMG, EKG, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and other physiological parameters during sleep.
- Initiate and titrate CPAP/BiPAP therapy per physician orders.
- Administer oxygen therapy independently or with PAP therapy.
- Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias, respiratory events, seizures, and other patient emergencies.
- Troubleshoot sleep lab equipment and resolve technical issues during studies.
- Identify and eliminate recording artifacts while maintaining high-quality studies.
- Prepare preliminary study reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and mandatory training.
- Maintain compliance with BILH policies and provide excellent patient care.
