Description
Travel Pharmacist – Acute Care Hospital | Nights | 7 On / 7 Off
We're seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist for a 12–13 week assignment at a Level III Trauma Center. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospital pharmacist who enjoys working independently on overnight shifts in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Assignment Details
- Position: Travel Pharmacist
- Unit: Pharmacy
- Care Setting: Acute Care Hospital
- Division: Allied Health
- Contract Length: 12–13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
- Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off
- Wednesday 8:00 PM through the following Wednesday 7:00 AM
- Typical shift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Biweekly Schedule: Alternating 3 shifts one week (36 hours) and 4 shifts the next week (48 hours) for a guaranteed 72 hours every two weeks.
Please Note: The posted weekly pay is based on a 36-hour workweek. Weeks with 4 shifts (48 hours) will result in additional earnings based on the applicable hourly and overtime rates.
Requirements
- PharmD required
- Active Nebraska Pharmacist License required (required for submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital pharmacist experience
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Acute care/inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to work independently on overnight shifts after orientation

Additional Information
The facility is seeking an overnight pharmacist to fill a critical staffing need. The ideal candidate will be able to complete orientation quickly and transition to independent overnight coverage. Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is required, and EPIC experience is highly preferred.
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 45 miles from the facility to qualify.
