Description
100-mile radius rule.
No more than 5 days of RTO.
Unit: OT.
License: AZ OT license in hand/active.
Required Certs: AHA BLS.
Case types: total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, sepsis.
Caseload: 8-10 per day.
Setting: Acute Inpatient.
Areas covered: ED & Med Surg.
Required experience: Understanding of pathology, Lab values, interdisciplinary communication.
Scheduling/weekends: 5x8's with flex weekend coverage 2-3 days/month, 4x10 (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat).
No Self Scheduling.
Holidays: rotate.
Scrub Color: Royal Blue.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
