Description
Travel RN – Key Requirements
- 🩺 Active RN license in the applicable state
- ❤️ BLS certification required
- 🎓 ADN or ASN required (BSN preferred)
- ✅ New graduates accepted (no prior RN experience required)
- 💻 Basic computer skills and ability to learn hospital systems
- 🤝 Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- 📋 Ability to assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, and provide patient/family education
- 👥 Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- 📦 Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- 📊 Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation
Preferred
- Previous nursing experience
- BSN degree

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
