Overview

Seeking an experienced CVOR RN to join a high-acuity Adult Cardiac OR team. The ideal candidate will independently circulate complex cardiac surgeries and work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing advanced cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

• Independently circulate complex adult cardiac procedures
• Assist with CABG, TAVI/TAVR, Bentall, Mini AVR, Impella, VAD, ECMO, and Artificial Heart cases
• Support heart transplant procedures (experience preferred)
• Maintain a sterile surgical environment and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the cardiac OR team

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR/Operating Room experience
• Ability to circulate independently in cardiac cases
• Telemetry experience required
• Level I Trauma OR experience preferred
• Heart Transplant and TAVI/TAVR experience preferred, but not required
• BLS, ACLS required
