Job Title: LPN/LVN – Oncology (Ambulatory Clinic)

Location: Bronx, NY - 10467

Contract Duration: 17 Weeks with possible extension

Start Date: 08/12/2026

Shift: Days | 8-Hour Shifts

Hours/week: 37.5 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join an Ambulatory Oncology Clinic. The LPN will provide direct patient care and clinical support for patients with hematology and oncology conditions, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, assessments, and obtain/document vital signs.
• Administer vaccines and prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect laboratory specimens.
• Assist with care coordination and patient flow.
• Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Follow clinic protocols, infection control, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Active New York State LPN License (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience
• AHA - BLS Certification (Required)
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
