10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Job Summary
Provides nursing care for hospital patients with a range of health problems, including post-operative discharge education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
Core Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned group of patients
- Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
- Assist with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
- Monitor patient data and intervene when necessary
- Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
- Coordinate care with patients, families, and support staff
- Provide discharge education for post-operative patients
