CRNALocation: MDSchedule: 10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Position OverviewProvide anesthesia services as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in a hospital setting. This assignment focuses on weekday day shift coverage with no call, weekends, holidays, or overtime expected. Clinical Scope Highlights<ul><li>Case types may include urology, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, vascular, and endoscopy</li><li>Pre anesthesia assessment and patient consent verification</li><li>Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients</li><li>Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia</li><li>Continuous monitoring and clinical interventions as needed</li></ul>Facility Highlights<ul><li>Charting system: Epic</li><li>Anesthesia rooms: 9 (utilizing up to 3 at a time)</li><li>MD supervision: Yes</li><li>MD to CRNA ratio: 1 to 2</li><li>MDs may perform their own cases: Yes</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Current license as a registered professional nurse</li><li>Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program</li><li>Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists</li><li>BLS, ACLS, and PALS</li></ul>Credentialing and Onboarding<ul><li>Estimated privileging timeframe: 60 days</li><li>Accelerated privileges: Temporary privileges (30 to 60 days)</li></ul>
