Surgical Technologist – Travel Assignment

Shift: Variable, 4×10-Hour Shifts
Contract: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
• Travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Active Surgical Technologist certification
• BLS certification preferred/required per facility

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Handle sterile instruments, supplies, and surgical equipment.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs and pass instruments efficiently.
• Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts.
• Assist with patient positioning and surgical preparation.
• Ensure compliance with sterile technique and patient safety standards.
