Looking for a unique nursing role away from the bedside? This position focuses on patient rounding, building meaningful connections with patients, improving their experience, and helping increase patient satisfaction scores. Position Details
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Every Other Weekend
- No On-Call
- Paid orientation (3 days)
Weekly Pay
- Up to $3,082/week
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient rounds throughout the day
- Ensure patients feel heard, supported, and cared for
- Address concerns and escalate issues as needed
- Document patient interactions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient experience and outcomes
- No bedside nursing responsibilities
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused
- Strong documentation skills
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience with this health system is a plus
Required Certifications
- BLS
- California Fire Card
Additional Information
- Up to 4 days of RTO may be considered
- Travelers are expected to float within their RN scope as needed
- Local travelers accepted
- Epic EMR
- Royal Blue or Navy Blue scrubs
- PPE provided
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
Submission Requirements
- Universal submittal packet
- Skills checklists must score 3.0 or higher
- Two-week credentialing process required before start date
