🏥 About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Med Surg RN to provide inpatient and observation care. You’ll play a critical role in patient assessment, care planning, treatment, and discharge coordination, ensuring continuity of care and preventing readmissions.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments & reassessments
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen, and blood products
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes quickly
• Accurately document in Cerner EMR
• Provide patient & family education (disease, meds, discharge planning)
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with infection control & patient safety standards
• Support team environment and mentor peers when needed

✅ Requirements (Strict – Please Review)

• Minimum 5 years of Med Surg or ER experience REQUIRED
• Previous travel experience REQUIRED
• Cerner EMR experience REQUIRED
• Active Colorado RN License (or ability to obtain)
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS & PALS – Required (or must obtain within 3 months)
