Job Title: Central Service Technician
Central Service Technician
Shift: 8hrs, 2:30pm-11:00pm
On-Call: AS NEEDED
Rotating Weekends: yes
Holiday: AS NEEDED
High School diploma or equivalent CRCST certification within one year required One to Two years experience as a Central Processing Technician required (Sterile Processing Decontamination & Sterilization Responsibilities) The Central Service Technician will be responsible for the decontamination, preparation, high-level disinfection, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, medical devices and equipment required for patient care. The ideal candidate is meticulous, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about infection control protocols and standards. Responsibilities Disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize, and store procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic technique Inspect instruments to ensure all required items are available for surgery Test and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure its working properly Maintain accurate sterilization and quality assurance records Report any equipment or supply issues to the supervisor Manage inventory and ensure supplies are ordered as necessary Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures Submission Requirements: Up to date resume that includes 5+ year(s) of experience in matching specialty experience. (travel highly preferred) 2 recent Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references matching specialty Skills Checklist matching specialty Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
