🚨 Travel Stepdown/Telemetry RN | Nights | 13-Week Contract

Join a supportive, experienced team at a well-established Stepdown/Telemetry unit!

📍 Location: Henderson, KY
🩺 Specialty: Stepdown / Telemetry RN
🕒 Shift: Nights | 3x12s
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 2 years of RN experience (including 1 year of Stepdown/PCU experience)
✅ At least 1 previous travel assignment
✅ Active Compact RN License
✅ AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
✅ Recent EPIC experience required
✅ Must pass telemetry interpretation testing

Required Skills:

Telemetry interpretation
Titration of insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience caring for Stepdown/PCU patients

Patient Population:

Sepsis
CHF & COPD
DKA
Cirrhosis
Dementia
Post-op Urology, Abdominal & Orthopedic patients

Highlights:

36 guaranteed hours (48-hour contracts available upon request)
Excellent teamwork with experienced nursing staff
Every 3rd weekend rotation
Floating within skill set may include nearby affiliated campuses
Teaching hospital with opportunities to precept students and new hires
Navy blue scrubs

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
