Description

Job Title: Travel Medical ICU Registered Nurse - Rotating Shifts (LHMC / BILH System)

Job Description: Take on an exciting, high-acuity travel nursing assignment in the Medical ICU at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC), a premier Level 1 trauma facility! We are seeking an experienced MICU travel nurse for 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) backed by a 72-hour biweekly guarantee. If you have a strong critical care background, Level 1 trauma experience, and Epic proficiency, apply today!

Contract Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights) with weekly orientations.
  • Guarantee: 72 hours biweekly guaranteed.
  • Location: Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC).

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience with dedicated Medical ICU, Level 1 trauma, Epic EMR, and prior travel experience.
  • Certifications: Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Strict Submission & Compliance Rules:
    • Must include a BILH coversheet at submittal.
    • Must pass compliance practice tests (80%+) and Day 1 Med/EKG exams on-site.
    • No local candidates; must be separated from the BILH system for 6+ months.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
