Description

Title: RN MS/Tele

Location: Odessa, TX

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night – 4x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Requirements:

Active Texas RN License
Current BLS Certification
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Must be willing to float to other Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as needed
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations accepted)
COVID-19 vaccine not required

Description:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Observation Unit.
Assess, monitor, and manage patients with acute medical and telemetry needs.
Administer medications, treatments, and patient education according to physician orders.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Float to other Med/Surg/Telemetry units based on staffing needs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
