Description
Title: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Seaside, OR 97138
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 5x8 Hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- No Weekends
- No On-Call
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer experience
- Active Oregon License
- One of the following certifications:
- RDCS (preferred)
- ARDMS (preferred)
- CCI
- ARRT (Sonography) (preferred)
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Must be proficient in starting IVs for contrast studies
- Travel experience not required
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
Description:
- Perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations, including adult transthoracic, stress, portable, and transesophageal echocardiography.
- Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images using Doppler, contrast agents, and advanced imaging techniques.
- Perform cardiac measurements and calculations, including LV strain, LV volume, diastology, PISA, and Simpson's Rule.
- Start IVs independently for contrast-enhanced echocardiography studies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Document findings using Epic EMR and maintain accurate patient records.
- Follow infection control, PPE, and patient safety protocols.
- Work in a Critical Access Hospital caring for adult and geriatric patients.
