Position Details

Position: Cath Lab RN
Facility: MUSC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks 
Shift: Days – 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts

Requirements

• 2 years of Cath Lab experience – Required
• EP/Cath experience – Required
• First-time travelers accepted
• SC RN License or Compact License
  • License must be active/in hand prior to start
  • Pending SC license may be considered at submission with proof of application or SC walk-through eligibility
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• EPIC experience – Required
• Radiation Badge – Required
  • Must be provided by the agency
  • MUSC does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Community hospital experience – Required

Schedule & Call

• Shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Hours: 40 hours/week

Local / Radius Rules

• 60-mile radius rule
• Locals accepted case-by-case
• Local candidates are paid at 10% less than the posted bill rate
• MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates
• Previous MUSC permanent/PRN staff must have 1 year separation before returning as a traveler

Submission / Compliance

• RTO must be submitted upfront
• No RTO accepted after submission
• RTO of 7 days or less and non-holiday may qualify for auto-offer if the candidate is a clinical PASS
• RTO of 7+ days or including holidays requires facility approval
• SSN required for submission
• Only one MUSC unit/campus may be submitted at a time
• Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of start
• Modules: Approximately 4 non-billable hours, included in NBO
• Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
• COVID vaccine not required

Important Facility Notes

• Traveler cannot report until the SC license is active if submitting with a pending license
