Position Details
- Position: Labor & Delivery RN
- Facility: Grant Hospital
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts/week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Must be comfortable working Labor & Delivery
- Must meet the 8/24/2026 start date
- Travelers are first to float
- Must be willing to work every other weekend and every other holiday
Required Certifications
- BLS
- NRP
- EFM-NCC OR AWHONN
Licensure
- Any active state RN license or Compact RN license accepted
- License does not have to be Ohio-specific at submission
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status.
- Perform assessments and interventions throughout labor and delivery.
- Recognize and respond to changes in maternal or fetal condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and other members of the care team.
- Accurately document patient care in Epic.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
