Position Details

• Position: Laboratory / Medical Laboratory Technician
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements

• Perform assigned laboratory analysis and report results according to department procedures and regulations.
• Maintain laboratory quality control standards.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment according to required schedules and instructions.
• Correlate laboratory results with clinical findings through chart review and consultation with nursing and medical staff.
• Perform receptionist and phlebotomy duties as assigned.
• Follow all applicable state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis accurately and efficiently.
• Document and report laboratory results.
• Conduct quality control procedures.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Review patient charts and collaborate with clinical staff regarding laboratory findings.
• Assist with specimen collection and phlebotomy duties.
• Provide receptionist support when needed.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory and healthcare regulations.
