Position Overview

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join its high-tech Operating Room team in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Tech looking for 40 guaranteed hours per week, multiple scheduling options, and the opportunity to work across a diverse range of surgical specialties in a modern 26-suite Operating Room.

The OR provides care for patients across the full age spectrum, from neonates and pediatric patients to adults and geriatric patients, with both inpatient and outpatient procedures performed.

Available Schedule Options

Multiple shift patterns may be available based on department needs:

• 3x12: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
• 4x10: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 11:00 AM–9:30 PM
• 4x12: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 11:00 AM–11:30 PM

Please note: Shift availability is subject to the facility's current staffing needs.

Additional Shift / Call Obligations

Although there is no routine on-call requirement, the assignment includes approximately 4–5 additional shift or on-call obligations over the 13-week contract.

These obligations may include:

• Weekday evening/night shifts or on-call
• Weekend day shifts or on-call
• Weekend night shifts or on-call

These obligations are separate from the candidate's regularly scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• National Surgical Technologist certification
• Current BLS
• Ability to obtain the New Hampshire Medical Technician license upon acceptance
