Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist – Outpatient Breast Imaging

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast imaging assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers looking to join a collaborative team in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Assignment Details:

• Specialty: Mammography / Breast Imaging
• Schedule: 4×10-hour Day shifts
• Facility: Outpatient Medical Office Building on Hospital Campus
• Call: None
• Weekends: Not required (may occasionally support Saturdays if needed)
• Holidays: Closed on major holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving; open on Christmas Eve

Shift Times:

Candidates must be flexible to work varying day shifts based on department needs, including:

• 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Assist with breast imaging procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality and safety standards

Requirements:

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of mammography experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging, patient positioning, and quality assurance
