Contract: 13 Weeks
ā° Schedule: 3x12s (7:00 AMā7:30 PM or 7:00 PMā7:30 AM)
Requirements:
ā
Active RN License
ā
AHA BLS & ACLS required
ā
First-time travelers welcome
ā
EPIC experience preferred
Unit Details:
- 42-bed PCU/Telemetry service across two units
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 (Days & Nights)
- Charge nurses available on each unit
- PCT support available
- EMR: EPIC
- Philips cardiac telemetry monitoring
Patient Population:
- Chest pain & elevated troponins
- Pre/Post cardiac catheterization
- Post-STEMI recovery
- NSTEMI
- Pacemaker patients
- CHF and cardiac medical patients
- Oncology overflow
- Post-operative orthopedic patients
- Peritoneal dialysis (training provided)
Required Skills:
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Cardiac medication management
- Care of cardiac patients
- Management of Bipap, CPAP & High-Flow Oxygen (with RT support)

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst Iāve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is okš„“ but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Donāt do it!
