Description
Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse – Waimea, HI
Location: Waimea, HI
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Must be Available for All Shifts
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Waimea, HI. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians.
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Active Hawaii RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
