Operating Room RN – Internal Requirements (Recruiter Summary)
Position Overview

Unit Details
- 4 Operating Rooms
- 👩⚕️ 1:1 patient ratio
- Blue scrubs provided
- 24/7 in-house pharmacy
Required Qualifications
- ✅ Active RN License
- ✅ BLS (Required)
- ✅ ACLS (Preferred)
- ✅ PALS (Preferred)
- ✅ Minimum 1 year of OR experience
Case Types
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Neurosurgery
- OB/GYN
- ENT
Role Expectations
- Circulate only (No scrubbing required)
- No floating required
Scheduling
- Shift details to be discussed during the interview
- Weekend and call requirements vary and will be reviewed during the interview

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
